Caprese Panini with sliced apples








A delicious Sunday lunch and so simple to make. For Christmas my mother-n-law got me a Food Network all in one grill. I have been putting it to use a lot lately. To make this sandwich simple take 2 slices of bread and butter one side of each piece. Slice fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and 2 Basil leaves that have been washed and dried. Place one side of the bread down on the panini grill and top with basil leaves, tomato slices and cheese. Place top piece on and cook about 3-5 minutes depending on how dark you would like it. Serve with sliced apples and a balsamic vinaigrette to dip your sandwich in. You won't believe how good this is.
